Britannia raises over £100,000 for Tsunami appeal

05.04.2005 The temporary change of the onboard collection proceeds going from Born Free to the Tsunami appeal came from a suggestion put forward by a member of the crew.

Inflight Service Manager, Clare McCoubrey, said: 'The final amount raised for the DEC has far exceeded my expectations and reflects the generosity of our crew, support staff and, in particular, our customers who gave so generously. We still have collection boxes around the company which haveyet to be counted so the grand total will be even higher'.
