Car Parking At Coventry Airport

In the coming months it will be even easier for passengers to park and fly from Coventry Airport - the airport has received planning permission for additional car parking for over 2000 cars adjacent to the airport terminal building.

The airport will create the car park over the next few months - all car parking for the airport will then be within close walking distance of the interim passenger facility; as a result passengers will not need to transfer to the terminal by bus.

Guy Stephenson, Commercial Director of Thomsonfly.com, said, "This new car park will be a great benefit for our passengers as they will only have a short walk from the car park to the terminal. This will make it easier for people when they are flying from the airport, but the biggest advantage for customers will be the speed of exit from the airport on their return. Our customer feedback shows that people like the simplicity of travel through Coventry Airport, and for this reason prefer it over larger airports."

Currently passengers pre-booking their parking are able to park in the area next to the terminal, subject to space limitations. Parking should be pre-booked at www.parkingatcoventryairport.com.

The airport also has a public transport link with the frequent '737' bus service that connects Coventry city centre with the airport.
