Thomsonfly wins Best Airline award

12.05.2004 Thomsonfly.com, the low-fares airline operating from Coventry Airport, has won Best Airline award in the Travelmole.com Travel and Tourism Web Awards 2004.

The award recognises the clarity and ease-of-use of the website and Thomsonfly.com fought off tough competition from the other leading airlines to win the award.   The judges recognised that the website was  "doing simple stuff very well".   In particular Thomsonfly.com was commended for the very attractive site and the way in which bookings could be made from the first page.

The website allows customers to book flights from Coventry Airport (and from December Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport) to 11 destinations on the mainland and islands of Europe.   It also allows the customer to book complementary services including car hire, hotels and insurance through links to partner companies.
