Heavy Snowfall over The Alps!

28.01.2005 Skiers heading for the Alps have been confronted by the sight of less than deep and crisp and even snow. There’s been unsettled weather due to high pressure meaning little snow has fallen this season. But skiers’ luck is about to change as heavy snowfalls have begun in the area.

A member of the Ski Club of Great Britain comments: ‘There has not been much snow recently, but it’s finally snowing at last. Since the start of January it has been pretty mild throughout the Alps. The high resorts have been offering the best conditions but it looks as if resorts at all levels are getting snow now.’
