04.08.2005 Just over three months after the start of low-fares flights from Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield, Thomsonfly.com will fly its 1000th flight today.
The landmark flight will leave the airport for Doncaster for the top holiday destination - Majorca at lunchtime.
Thomsonfly.com has been operating from the airport to 11 European destinations since 28 April this year. Over 150,000 people have already travelled from the new airport - Thomsonfly.com’s third low fares flight base.
Thomsonfly will also reach another landmark this month. The 1,000,000th low fares passenger will fly off for a break from Coventry Airport to one of the carrier's 11 European destinations.
