Maintenance work at Coventry Airport

22.09.2005 Thomsonfly has been informed by Coventry Airport that due to essential routine maintenance work on the runway, the airport will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a period of five weeks, starting 15th November 2005.

The majority of flights to or from Coventry will operate to and from Nottingham East Midlands Airport during the days when the runway is closed.

Thomsonfly will provide a free shuttle bus service for passengers, between Coventry and Nottingham East Midlands Airports during this period. Unfortunately, a small number of flights have been cancelled, however we have endeavoured to inconvenience customers as little as possible. All passengers affected by the temporary closure of Coventry Airport have been formally notified of the flight cancellations and schedule changes via the email address or postal address provided when the flight was originally booked.
