16.11.2006 Thomsonfly has announced its summer 2007 flying programme, offering increased low fare flights from Jersey to Coventry, Cardiff and Doncaster-Sheffield, and new daily flights to London Luton. Flights are now on sale and prices start from as little as £16.99 one way including taxes and charges.

Guy Stephenson, Thomsonfly’s commercial director, comments: “Jersey has quickly established itself as a very important destination for us and we are pleased to expand our routes from this airport to meet the demand from local residents.

“In addition to continuing with daily services on our established routes from Coventry, and Doncaster-Sheffield, we’re delighted to extend our range of destinations to include daily flights into London Luton airport for summer 2007 and to increase our frequency to Cardiff.

Guy added: “Since we started flying to Jersey in March 2004, we’ve flown over 200,000 people into Jersey. Coventry-Jersey was Thomsonfly's first ever flight and we are proud of our ongoing association with the island, our popular links to the UK regions and our contribution to the development of tourism in Jersey.”

London Luton, from £16.99 one-way, from May 2007
London Luton is the premier gateway to north London, the northern Home Counties and the southern end of the M1 corridor. With frequent fast trains and low cost bus services into central London, fly direct to London Luton with Thomsonfly for a short break in the UK’s capital city, or to visit friends and relatives living north of London.

With its fantastic waterfront, cultural and sporting venues, and access to the beautiful South Wales coast and the M4, Cardiff has proved popular with Thomsonfly customers throughout 2006. For summer 2007 there will be even more low fares on offer as frequency and capacity to the Welsh capital is increased, with up to five services per week.

Located in the heart of the Yorkshire and serving the surrounding Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire regions, Thomsonfly will continue with its daily service for summer 2007. Robin Hood Airport Doncaster-Sheffield is on the doorstep of some of the UK’s top tourist attractions, from the Yorkshire Moors and Derbyshire Peak District to traditional seaside coastal towns and vibrant city centres.

All flights are operated on Boeing 737 aircraft.
