Robin Hood Airport On Course For Take Off

29.03.2005 With just over a month to go until the first flight takes to the skies from the new Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield on 28 April 2005, the airport's construction partners, Bovis are now putting the finishing touches to the terminal building and external areas. All of the major work is complete inside and out, with just a few cosmetic tasks to finish off like carpet and furniture fitting inside and grass seeding and fencing outside.

Meanwhile, the airport is now fully staffed, with everyone in place and ready and waiting for the operational launch on 28 April 2005.
